Sharing is caring!

If you sign up with Venmo, you can pay and request money from your pals using Venmo. When you owe your friends money but don’t want to deal with cash, Venmo essentially offers a social way to pay them. For instance: dividing the cost of a meal, sharing half a cab fare with your friend, transferring your share of the rent to your roommate, or running a shared bill with a friend or family member.
If you’re a new user of Venmo and would like to create a business profile, you can do so at the same time that you create a personal account.

Venmo can be used to make purchases from licensed retailers. For instance:

Using the Venmo Mastercard Debit Card in any Mastercard-accepting location in the United States
using Venmo as a payment method in applications or mobile websites from approved partners
use Venmo to finish purchases made with in-store QR codes.
Otherwise, Venmo shouldn’t be used to make purchases unless specifically permitted.

You must be a resident of the United States and have a mobile device that can receive SMS messages in order to use Venmo. Depending on your device, you can download our app from the App Store or Play Store and create your Venmo account right here on the website at venmo.com.
